Students Associations or unions are typically characteristic of higher level institutions in most countries. In TCT it is not different. A pioneer student body that formed in TCT is the Tumba College of Technology Students’ Association (TCTAS). It is an umbrella association of all the students in TCT, once a bona fide TCT student has paid his association membership due, his/her status as a member begins and continues until the day of his/her graduation

The Association is composed of organic structure of four (4) chambers.

TCTAS is generally managed by a board of management constituted from the above four chambers in accordance with the rules of its constitution. The Leaders of the association are elected from current members comprising of all students studying in TCT.
