In line with her objetives, and in continuation of her pursuit for the actualization of her visions, Tumba College of Technology(TCT) is starting a new academic branch of the institution - TCT ICT Training Center Kigali, in the premises of Center for Innovations and Technology (CITT), Kimironko in Kigali. The candidates' registration for training in the center is already going on, and the academic programme activities are scheducled to start in February 2010.

TCT is a young TVET higher level educational institution whose impact is already being felt among Rwandan industries. It is an academic center of excellence that stands as one of the cardinal hope of the government for delivering the upper technicians sector's skills and workforce requirements, which has been identified as grossly lacking.

The idea of openning a branch in Kigali, aside from the gain of accessibility to industries which are mostly located in Kigali, is to create an advantage for individuals and working people who need the higher technical skills training offered in TCT, but who are located at some distance away from the main campus in Tumba may be because of their job iin Kigali.
For the beginning the kigali branch will offer programmes to prospective candidates for courses including

IT Professional Certification and
Short time Training courses in IT field and some ET fields

The Class schedules will include morning and evenning sessions to give rooms for flexibility and advantage for different categories of working people.

TCT Kigali enjoys the support of the Japan Intrnational Cooperation Agency(JICA). Through this support, great effort have been made to ensure that the center is adequately provided with training facilities and infrastructure, highly skilled academic and technical personnel, plus additional support and connections with the JICA experts. Prospective Candidates are encouraged to contact TCT Liason office in CITT Kigali for information regarding the registration process for the first intake.
