Career day is a day-long event by which opportunity is availed to the representatives of local, national and international companies/organization from the public and private sectors come to Tumba College of Technology (TCT) to talk informally with area students.
The day also offers the student the chance to familiarize themselves with the companies. Company representatives then have an opportunity to acquaint themselves with the students and with programs of study at TCT. So in the end there is information transfer between the students and the companies.
Benefits
There are benefits both for the companies, for the students, and the TCT of attending the Career day events. The companies and organizations can derive benefits such as getting the opportunities to

Students to Expect
In each year’s Career Day event, over 150 young men and women from A1 programs whose objectives are to meet informally with company representatives and discuss possible employment opportunities are expected to be in attendance. These men and women products of A1 programs come from the fields of Alternative Energy, Electronics and Telecommunication, and Information Technology. Career Day at Tumba College of Technology is organized each year by the college. This college organizes and administers this special day for the benefit of students by bringing business and industry closer to the students.
Cost to attend Career Day is free for all Tumba College of Technology students and companies/organizations.
