Rwanda National Electoral Commission (RNEC) Held Public Lecture in Tumba College of Technology About Senatorial Election to be done in September 2011.
                   

On Wednesday July 27, 2011.The Rwanda national electoral commission (RNEC) delegated two commissioners to Tumba College of Technology in order to communicate to TCT community about the forth coming senatorial elections that will take place on 26th -27th September 2011.They said that the final results will be announced on 4th October 2011. Mr Oswald BURASANZWE, the commissioner and advisor in MINALOC narrated that the mandate of the senators will end on 9th October 2011.He said that among twenty six senators only fourteen are to be elected, Northern province 2 senators, Southern province 3 senators, western province 3 senators, Eastern province 3 senators and 1senator from Kigali city and the other two senators are selected from Higher institutions of learning, one from public institution and the other one from private institution and the remaining eight senators are appointed by His Excellency the president of the republic of Rwanda.

The principal Tumba College of Technology Eng.pascal GATABAZI on behalf of the TCT community thanked the visitors for the explanations given to the attendants and promised co-operation during the senatorial election period that will take place in our country to be successful as prepared by the national electoral commission.
