Foreword

The TCT library will serve as an integral to the education process of the college (TCT) and support the vision and mission as stated above. The Guidelines for Operation of this library serves as a uniform guide designed to aid the chief librarian and other library officers in the daily operation of the facility as well as reinforce the curriculum by providing a variety of resources in multiple formats which enhance classroom activities.

Goals of TCT Library

The purpose of the library is to provide:

• Diverse resource and equipment collections appropriate for use by students as well as tutors .
• Organization and maintenance of materials and equipment which facilitates optimum use
• Management of the facility and activities that allows flexible access based on patron input and needs assessments.
• Instruction which promotes a lifelong interest in reading, enables library patrons to function efficiently and successfully when pursuing research goals and encourages optimum usage of library materials, resources and services.
