A Team of Japanese Teachers Visited Tumba College of Technology.

                   

On Friday August 5, 2011, a team of Japanese teachers visited Tumba College of Technology. A group of eleven teachers came from Kyushu southern island of Japan and among the visitors included the Jica co-coordinator in Kyushu Mrs. Mia Nishikawa and one Facilitator Takashi Hoki – Representative for Sakurai-Houki Global Education Institute. The main purpose of the visit was to see the Jica support in Education.

The Tumba College of Technology Jica Deputy Chief Advisor Mrs. Ikawa Mariko gave a brief description about Tumba College of Technology to the visitors. The visitors visited different sites in the college including the Department of Alternative Energy mechanical workshops and Biomass laboratory, CISCO laboratory, networking and software development laboratories in the department of Information Technology and Electronics and Telecommunication department’s laboratories like fiber optics Technology and robotics Technology. After visiting the sites, the visitors appreciated what was done by Jica TCT and were impressed by the warm welcome given to them by TCT community.
