IT department presently offers the following programmes

Diploma in Information Technology – This is a 2-year and 6-month diploma programme aimed at producing higher-level technicians in the field of Information Technology. Requisite qualification for admission into this programme is A2 certificate in Sciences (maths/Physics) or Informatique in Technical Schools. The programme is spread out into four semesters, with a fifth semester which is for Industrial attachment period.

Completion of the requirements for this programme leads to the award of National Examination council of Rwanda A1 (diploma) in Information Technology

Cisco Academy CCNA 1, 2, 3, and 4 short courses – This is a short course based on Cisco Academy curriculum. The curriculum consists of four modules which are Network Fundamental, Routing Protocols and Concepts, LAN Switching and Wireless, Accessing the WAN. Students who have completed IT essentials course will be at advantage to undertake this course. The normal duration of the course for all the modules is 8 months; however individual candidates can shorten their own duration in the course. The completion of this course leads to the award of CCNA Academy Certificates.
