The vision of the department is to reach excellence in academic delivery and in contributing to the general vision of TCT as a relevant and high quality technical education center.

Our mission is to develop higher technicians who can operate, maintain and design electronic devices and telecommunication infrastructure and contribute in relevant way in the economic development of the country and region.

Department Objectives

Electronics and Telecommunications department of the College is born out of the desire of the Government of Rwanda to actualize set goals of vision 2020 dreams by producing skilled technical manpower. The departmental courses content are designed in a manner that would facilitate students’ specialization in three areas namely electronic devices Repair, assembly and maintenance (RA), cable communication (CC), wireless communication (WC)

The objective Electronics and Telecommunication department is:

To produce highly qualified A1 (diploma) graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication field
To produce graduates who have adequate knowledge and hands-on-skills for becoming practical engineers in the domains of
Electronic devices Repair, assembly and maintenance (RA)
Cable communication (CC)
Wireless communication (WC
